🏆 Congratulations to Dr. Ritchotte's class for winning this year's Hispanic Heritage door contest! Their door incorporated "Change" by Sandra Cisneros. Ms. Simmons' class came in second with their "Pioneers" theme. Did you know that the onset of Alzheimer's can occur as young as your 30s? It does not always happen to just "old" people. Dianne Torgeson and Laquita Herron from Camden County Alzheimer's project came to talk with Builders Club and Jr. Beta students for the Walk kickoff party. Students learned about Alzheimer's, and what they can do to help prevent it. They enjoyed photo opportunities and afterwards made scarecrows that are on display for the scarecrow walk. You can also see them at the Alzheimer's Walk on the 26th. Come join us!
