Welcome to 2017-18 school year! We are incredibly excited about this year at Sugarmill Elementary.  This promises to be a year filled with golden opportunities for all of our students as we strive to create a productive partnership with you to ensure our children can achieve their highest potential. We embark on this journey with a pledge to you, our students and parents, that this will be a great year of engaging, meaningful, and rigorous learning in our classrooms.

Our school community has adopted the following mission, vision and beliefs statements to guide us as we work with each other to educate our students.


All Sugarmill Elementary School students have the opportunity to develop and achieve goals to become contributing members of society. 


We will ensure educational excellence in a safe and nurturing environment where all Sugarmill Elementary School students are empowered to reach their goals and become productive citizens.

        Kindergarten REGISTRATION

WHO:             Kindergarten STUDENTS

  • A child must be a Georgia resident. 

    WHEN:          Opens April 16th, 2018

    WHERE:       Assigned Elementary School or CCS website online.  If the registration is completed online, link http://www.camden.k12.ga.us must be used following these steps:

    Parents/guardians must furnish copies of the following documents in person or online to complete the student application process:

  • Proof of Age: An official copy of the child’s certified birth certificate, military ID, passport, or adoption record (a copy can be made from the original at the school

  • The child’s social security card
  • Proof ofResidency

The following documents must also be presented within 30 days after the child’s 1st day of school.  It is beneficial to present them at the time of enrollment.

  • An Official Certificate of Immunization (form 3231)
  • An Official Certificate of Vision, Hearing, Dental and Nutrition Screening (form 3300)
